Mike had just gotten back from hanging out with Santana when he started talking to Melody again. She had posted a picture of herself in a bikini and asked if anyone wanted to go to the beach, which Mike quickly offered himself up. After thinking about it, he vaguely remembered Puck having a little cousin that he had barely paid any attention to all these years and now he was regretting that. The girl was obviously beautiful from what he could tell online and he couldn’t wait to get to know her better. Since he was already dressed in his board shorts, he jumped up from the bed and fixed his wind blown hair to look better. Wanting to make a good impression so that maybe they could hang out again, and he couldn’t do that if he looked like a mess.
Satisfied with his look, Mike headed out of his room and into the elevator. Humming along with the random island music playing the background until it finally reached the ground floor. As he walked out, he glanced around until his eyes finally settled on her sitting on a chair. Smiling to himself, Mike walked over and held his hand out when he reached. “Nice to meet you in person,” he grinned, “Even though I think we’ve met before and I just don’t remember.”
Melody had reverted to her dork ways and had begun to read a book on her iphone when she saw a hand in the corner of her eye and she quirked a brow reaching for out stretched hand to shake. “Nice to meet you as well,” she said with a small smile and blush as he finally did recognize her.. Well kind of anyways. “Yeah, I’m sure if I put my glasses on and stayed quite for a bit you’d recognize me.” She said shyly before tucking a lose strand of hair behind her ear and looking up at him. “Though it’s alright, not many people know me…. Anyways you ready to head down to the beach.” She said pointing toward the door, her cheeks turning a slight pink, knowing if he let her talk anymore she’d more than likely embarrass herself further.
